Customer Demands for Outdoor Kitchen with Pizza Oven
The customer wanted one unit for barbecuing, pizza baking, refrigeration, and draught beer. The standard layout needed these changes:
- Upgrade the standard 4-burner barbecue to a heavy-duty 8-burner model.
- Remove the sink and tap to make room for more appliances.
- Allow space on the worktop for a pizza oven.
- Reserve a bay for the customer’s existing beer dispenser.
- Adapt the electrical system to a 240V UK supply.
The customer also asked to review drawings before production. These changes called for careful planning of worktop height and cabinet space rather than a standard cabinet arrangement.
Bespoke BBQ Pod Layout Around Existing Appliances
Worktop height. The customer’s beer dispenser stands 85 cm tall with its wheels removed. This measurement is the reference for the worktop height and the reserved installation space, so the dispenser sits flush in its bay.
Layout. Removing the sink and tap frees enough room for both the pizza oven and the dispenser. The barbecue, fridge and extractor hood are retained, bringing the main cooking and drinks functions together in one unit.
Barbecue. The 8-burner model replaces the standard 4-burner grill, giving a larger cooking surface for family meals and parties.
This approach suits buyers who already own appliances or want to combine several cooking functions in one outdoor kitchen.

The frame is welded galvanised square steel. SPC aluminium honeycomb panels form the exterior, and the internal cabinets are 304 stainless steel, a combination suited to outdoor use. Final equipment positions and dimensions follow the confirmed design.
